The Trusted Advisor (in Dutch called vertrouwenspersoon) is a much discussed position within organizations because of the increasing awareness on undesired or transgressive behavior and a clear need from our society to make real change regarding social safety. 

Transgressive behavior should be avoided at all times, however, in practice this occurs in almost every company, sometimes without realizing it. 

Proud helps organizations to increase their social- & and psychological safety. An environment where everybody feels safe, included and able to speak freely without negative consequences is essential for both employees and organizations to thrive. 

We offer external Trusted Advisors for your employees and we help your People Leaders (HR department and Leadership team) to develop a more open and safe working environment, both on paper and in practice. Lastly, we train and guide your internal Trusted Advisors. 

Social- & Psychological Safety are important factors to create a healthy, inspiring and empowering working environment – and that is our mission at Proud! 

In 2025, Proud has launched a total program for social safety: The Social Foundation. As part of this program we support your organization on a continuous basis with four important pillars:
